How Live Music Packages Work
Every Joyous Engagements live music package is shaped around the atmosphere you want to create. Choose live piano for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or both.
Packages start at $599.
Looking for more than just piano? Awesome. We have multiple musicians available, including saxophone, guitar, and violin.
All packages include travel within 30 minutes of Londonderry. Travel fees will be quoted upon request.
Your music is selected and prepared specifically for your event, with the flexibility to respond to what is actually happening in the moment.
Every package includes:
A soundtrack shaped around your preferences
Help selecting songs for each part of the event
Thoughtful timing, pacing, and transitions
Professional keyboard and sound equipment, when needed
Coordination with your venue and events team

Kick off the Party The Right Way
While you take photos, hug approximately everyone you have ever met, and attempt to remember where you set down your drink, I will help welcome your guests into the celebration.
The cocktail-hour set can include the music you love across genres and generations: Billy Joel, Taylor Swift, Disney, Broadway, jazz, classic rock, movie soundtracks, video games, ’90s nostalgia, and the song nobody expected to hear played on a piano at a wedding.

Live Music that Follows the Moment
Your wedding party probably will not walk at exactly the same speed they did during rehearsal.
Someone may stop for a hug. A flower girl may change the plan entirely. Your entrance may need an extra breath before the music resolves.
That is the beauty of live piano.
I watch what is actually happening and adjust the music around you. No awkward fade-outs. No one frantically reaching for a phone. No forcing a meaningful moment to keep pace with a recording.

The beauty of having me during your ceremony AND cocktail hour is that I’ll improvise. I may hear something during your vows, a reference to a song, movie, TV show that I can sneak into your cocktail hour set.

Featured Song Requests
You are not limited to four or six total songs.
That would make for an extremely quiet wedding.
Most of the music will come from my existing repertoire and will be selected around the artists, genres, decades, and general atmosphere you love.
Your featured requests are the specific songs that matter most to you—the ones I will make sure are prepared and placed intentionally within the day.
These might include:
Your processional songs
Your recessional
Your parents’ wedding song
The song from your first concert together
Music from a favorite movie or game
The song you listened to approximately 9,000 times when you first began dating
Have more songs in mind? Send them over. Additional custom arrangements may be available depending on the music and preparation required.
A Few Pricing Details
The package prices above include events located within 30 minutes of Londonderry, New Hampshire (unless otherwise stated). I will bring the piano and sound equipment.
A custom quote may be needed for:
Additional travel.
More than one hour of music
Unusual access, power, or performance requirements
I will identify any additional cost before you book. No mysterious surprise invoice because the nearest electrical outlet was hiding behind a shrub.
Want to avoid travel fees? Pick a bundled service and I’ll waive them (within reason)
