Nathaniel brings an unusual creative background to weddings:
20+ years creating professional video
15+ years as a professional actor, specializing in musical theater
Professional screenwriting experience and training
Professional improvisation training
7 years performing as a guitarist and pianist in a touring band (The Lexingtons, featured on Vampire Diaries)
Wedding experience dating back to college, when he founded his own wedding-film company

Nathaniel knows how to tell a story, read a room, hold an audience, find the right moment for humor—and then get out of the way when the moment belongs entirely to the two of you.
Nathaniel first entered the wedding world behind the camera, starting a wedding-film company while he was in college.
Years later, after returning to wedding filmmaking and becoming friends with Joyous Engagements founder Katie French, he realized that the skills he'd built over a lifetime of performing translated remarkably well to another place at the wedding:

As an actor, writer, musician, filmmaker and improviser, Nathaniel has spent his career learning how to understand people and tell stories.
As an officiant, he gets to use all of it.
“My favorite part is learning about the couple and collaborating with them. I want them to feel completely confident that their day is going to be amazing.”
